PVCplus - Service Partner across Europe

PVCplus is an important information provider for the PVC branch and the general public. The marketing initiative gathers information, filters it, and processes it for specific target groups. Partners and promoters use the service partner as an expert for a wide range of communication services beginning with the development of complex communication concepts to workshops and publications. Especially important is the international orientation and networking of all measures which are successfully carried out by PVCplus.

Development of Campaigns

The European PVC branch relies on the professionalism of PVCplus as an expert in communication. The service partner thus participated in the development of a communication campaign on behalf of PVC4Pipes, the European marketing initiative for PVC pipes. At the centre of this diversified package was the creation of powerful images combined with a newly developed logo and slogan. No matter whether it involves posters, advertisements, master presentations, photo archives, or websites: the modular design offers companies outstanding tools for their communication projects to greatly increase their sales of PVC pipes.

With a new campaign, PVCplus supports its members in presenting themselves confidently as reliable partners for flexible PVC products. In the first stage, PVCplus developed professional, highly-emotional imagery. A new publication emphasises the advantages of flexible PVC products. Additional measures such as an internet presence, a sample presentation, advertisements, and events are planned cooperatively with members and partners so that the campaign can have as much impact as possible. The measures allow target groups to be approached directly in order to increase acceptance of modern products made of flexible PVC. The campaign is also supposed to have a long-term effect internationally.

 

"Starke Seiten"

PVCplus publishes the "Starke Seiten" three times a year with its unusual stories about PVC products and their creators and the English-language magazine "PVC Today" with the support of the European Council of Vinyl Manufacturers (ECVM) since 2008: it is a recognised quality publication from Germany. Articles and photos are published worldwide, e.g. in the United States, Brazil, and Japan. With the "Starke Seiten" as a supplement in the magazine "Der Architekt", the member publication of the Association of German Architects (BDA), and the electronic mailing of the digital journal "Wohnungswirtschaft heute", individual issues have reached up to 25,000 additional recipients. The suggestion by PVCplus to incorporate editorial articles and supplements is being implemented by more and more companies.

No matter whether it involves articles on energy efficiency, individual innovative products, or new manufacturing procedures: the service partner regularly informs the public about the performance of PVC products and the services of companies involved in the PVC supply chain – in German as well as in English.
